Hi, my name is Marcel.
I'm an interaction designer, design scientist, design enthusiast, team lead and project lead.
I studied design and computer science in media and have a PhD in design sciences.
In addition to my design work for various industry clients at stellar design and engineering, I completed my PhD at the Institute of Art and Design Science at Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany. My research on the design tension between innovations and conventions, in the context of human-machine interaction has been published by Transcript Verlag in 2021.
Besides UI and UX design, I am interested in design theory, agile project and team setups, adaptive processes, and leadership and development of creative teams.
